We’re incredibly excited to be developing our first Dave’s House Residential Community, which will offer a welcoming home for up to 30 adult men and women living with serious mental illness. This community will feature private duplex homes designed for independent living, supported by on-site case management and peer support.

Our new model includes common-use facilities, green spaces, and easy access to public transportation, creating a safe, nurturing environment that promotes personal and professional life skills development. With essential services provided by our partners, residents will benefit from a holistic approach that includes self-improvement activities, educational sessions, and job placement support.

Located in Seminole County, our community will offer single-family and multi-family units with separate bathrooms, ensuring privacy and dignity. The centralized location allows us to serve more residents efficiently, achieving economies of scale while enhancing the quality of care.

The impact of this project is profound—not only will it reduce homelessness in Orlando by providing preventive supportive housing, but it will also save our community an estimated $756,504 annually. Most importantly, it will empower residents on their journey toward self-actualization, providing a stable foundation for them to build a better future.
